The Office of Basic Energy Sciences is a major research program
within the DOE's Office of Science (organization
chart).
The Office of Science issued a new Strategic Plan in February 2004, and DOE
also substantially revised its Strategic Plan in September 2003 (link
to new Strategic Plans). In June 1999,
the Office of Science issued the following Strategic Plan. The
Plan was supported by a companion document, the Science Portfolio, which
provided links between the Objectives of the Plan and the research activities
of the Office of Science. |
