The Environmental Remediation Sciences Division operates the
William
R. Wiley Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory, a multidisciplinary
laboratory and computational facility that focuses on molecular-level research
relevant to the environmental needs of the Department of Energy
Other BER Facilities
The Office of Biological and Environmental Research plans to maintains and
develops
other specialized facilities for biological and
environmental research, providing new facilities based on strategic scientific
needs.
Other Office of Science Facilities
The
Office of Basic Energy Sciences operates
a number of major
scientific
user facilities (synchrotron light sources, neutron sources, electron-beam
characterization centers, nanoscience centers, and other specialized centers)
that serve ERSD-funded researchers from universities, national laboratories,
and industry.
